Arpita Prasad

Arpita co-founded Squirrel AI with Nihaar after building a career in private equity across some of the UK's leading investment firms. Her experience spans deal origination, execution, and portfolio management at the growth and buyout stages.

She has worked at 3i Group, one of the UK's largest private equity and venture capital firms; Apax Partners, a global buyout fund; and Scottish Equity Partners, which focuses on growth-stage technology businesses. Across those roles, she developed a deep understanding of how businesses create and destroy value — and where operational inefficiency costs the most.

That perspective is central to how Squirrel AI approaches client engagements. Rather than starting with technology, Arpita focuses on identifying where time and money are being lost — and whether AI is actually the right solution. When it is, the business case is clear from the outset.

She holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
