AI Training & Workshops
Capability building that rolls out across a portfolio. One playbook, many portcos.
What we do
Generic AI training does not change behaviour. A session on how to use ChatGPT does not help a finance team close month-end faster, and it certainly does not get an engineering team running coding agents safely.
So we run three levels, each pitched at where a team actually is. People join the level that matches their role and their starting point, and the content is written around the tasks they do every day.
For funds, this is capability building that rolls out across a portfolio. We build the programme once and run it across portfolio companies, so the core content stays comparable while the role-level prompts stay specific to each business.
A founder or director personally leads every engagement.
Formats
- Presentation-led sessions for larger audiences, to set a shared baseline
- Hands-on workshops for teams of 4 to 10, working live in the tools
- Prompts written for each participant's actual role, not generic examples
- Take-home prompt library from the Foundation level onwards
- Role-level power-user setups at the Advanced level
- Repeatable across portfolio companies: one playbook, many portcos
Foundation
Prompting fundamentals, model selection, and everyday workflows.
The baseline everyone needs: how to write a prompt that works, which model to reach for, and where AI fits into the work people already do. Everyone leaves with a take-home prompt library.
Intermediate
AI tools with shared context, connectors, routines and reusable files.
Teams move from one-off prompts to repeatable systems: shared context, connectors into the tools they already use, routines and reusable files, plus the team working patterns that stop it decaying after week three.
Advanced
AI coding agents in real workflows, with guardrails and review patterns.
For technical and power-user roles: AI coding agents running in real workflows, agents and guardrails, review patterns that keep output trustworthy, and power-user setups tuned per role.
Common questions
How are the three levels different?
Foundation covers prompting fundamentals, model selection and everyday workflows, and everyone leaves with a take-home prompt library. Intermediate moves teams onto AI tools with shared context, connectors, routines and reusable files, plus the team working patterns that make it stick. Advanced puts AI coding agents into real workflows, covering agents and guardrails, review patterns and power-user setups per role.
What formats do you run?
Two. Presentation-led sessions work for larger audiences where the goal is a shared baseline. Hands-on workshops work for teams of 4 to 10, where everyone is live in the tools and the prompts are written for their actual role. Most programmes combine both: a presentation to set the direction, then workshops per department.
Can this roll out across a whole portfolio?
Yes, and that is where it works hardest. We build the programme once and then run it across portfolio companies: one playbook, many portcos. The core content stays consistent so a fund can compare capability across the portfolio, while the role-level prompts and examples are tailored to each business.
Who runs the sessions?
A founder or director personally leads every engagement. The people designing the programme are the same people building production AI systems day to day, so the sessions reflect what actually works rather than what demos well.
